History

This is a very new park, it's members are bright eyed and shiny and the CK is lucky to have them. Founded in early 2007 accepted as a chapter in the Celestial Kingdom May 5, 2007.

Highway 59 runs into Beeville, and intersects with Loop 351.

At that intersection, there is a combination Valero and Dairy Queen. Turn AWAY from the Valero/Dairy Queen down 351 (This will work no matter which direction you came from...)

Almost exactly half a mile from this intersection, there is a church which advertises "... Bilingual Services" on their sign (on the right side of the road). Turning into their driveway leads you through to the back entrance into Veterans Memorial Park.

It's almost exactly a half mile from that intersection, so you can know if you missed it or not.

Enter park. If you follow the Left turns of the path, for about 1/3rd of a mile, you'll find our Park on Sundays starting about noon, at the Pavilion. (You'll cross a tiny bridge, but it is not a very noticeable bridge, so don't worry too much about that.)

It is harder to find us from the front entrance, so I do recommend the back entrance that I just described (which is also accessible from the highway, rather than from further into Beeville.)

Mapquest (etc) didn't help me very much when I tried to find directions for "Veteran's Memorial Park" or "Two Hundred Acre Park" so I hope these directions will work for you and your company when you can visit.
