Description:

With the return of the founder Teishi Masamura, The Clan household also returned. The Fighting Company has gone through several evolutions and has recently been resurrected after a many year hiatus lead on the field by Boogie. We encourage our members to better their own personal skills.

History:

Okuyama translates as 'Distant Mountain' or 'Hidden Mountain' and refers to the fact that at a time when the clan started there were few Japanese themed fighting companies or households and the three founding members were from other games. We keep the mountain in our hearts. We put Clan first and try to maintain Bushido on and off the field.

The clan was both the personal House of Teishi Masamura and a Fighting Company and had a rank structure similar to that of historical Japanese samurai society. We could be found at events by looking for the Tori gate and Clan Banner at the entrance to our camp. While having a Japanese persona wasn't necessary to join, all members were asked to obtain a set of Japanese garb and to choose a 'Clan Name.'

The House/Company had three awards/favors.

  • Clan Favor- A basic black cloth favor with clan mon given to all house and Company members.
  • Black obi belt with green stripe down center and silver trim worn by Daimyo's personal guard.
  • Gyoyo armor favor- Given to Fighting Company members to wear on armor.
