Calibarus

The Spider consumes and ensnares all!

Biography

Calibarus, born in the winter, the son of a poor farmer. His family was slaughtered by the Mongols as they invaded the eastern lands. He was rescued and raised by a monk who passed through the area. He was trained in the ways of the monk, but the temple was no ordinary temple, it was the one and only Temple of the Spider. As he grew older he grew stronger and faster, mastering the quaterstaff and naginata. At the age of fifteen winters Callibarus was ordered to travel west and establish a new temple of the spider. He taveled west for four winters, finally coming upon the Shire of Crying Heavens in the kingdom of Neverwinter. There he learned of the mighty wizard, Mortis Nuntius, who took him under his wing. After assisting in the hostile take over of the church of Azurea by Mortis, he recruited other monks to the order, he also took two warriors to act as the guardians of the temple. He has yet to summon the dark elf, Sarrif, so they can summon the giant Spider goddess, S'Gath.

During the great battle at the church of Azurea, Calibarus came to meet a barbarian named Javaltar, he and his wife assisted Calibarus many a time. As such, Javaltar and Calibarus became brothers at arms. If someone atempts to strike one down, he can be assured that vengeance will come swift and quick.
