a chapter of the Burning Lands , located in Huntington, WV.

Heraldry

History

Blackfire Valley was founded around 2003, originally as an on campus group of Marshall University. They were kicked off campus as a group when someone who wasn't in the group picked up one of the weapons during a demo and ran around hitting random pedestrians. Land contract in 2007.

We are unique for two reasons one, we are stick jocks. Role Play for us is a when we have our patented Pirate Battles. For the most part we just do battlegames, usually one or two with class, and one or two non class. Two, most of our people use weapons that are considerably heavier than other shires, with pvc cores instead of kitespar and golfclub shafts. Weapons made of golfclub shafts are referred to as "pixie sticks" and are only used by two of our members. we encourage a slightly more realistic use of weapon, not the slap and tap that most shires use. Its not uncommon to see our members using massive red weapons. Also, we almost never use sheilds.
