Belegarth
IS NOT a LARP it is a FULL CONTACT sport using foam weaponry.
What is it
A SPORT that broke off from Dagorhir of their own volition, much unlike Amtgard.
How is it different?
Belegarth fighters fight harder than either of their two sister sports, many forgoing the need for "Character Stories." Belegarth has no need for such foolery as Magic and multiple points of armour. In Belegarth, each piece of armour provides ONE extra point on that limb and no more.
Cross events
Every year Belegarth holds an event called Equinox near Nashville, Tennessee. In 2005 and 2006 players from sister larps where invited at no event cost for those traveling over a certain distance.
^- It is widely known that Equinox is a useless event that barely anyone has fun at, as generally it's easy pickings. There was once a silly person from Amtgard who commented on a Belegarth video saying how they went to Equinox and ruled the field simply by being from Amtgard. This person was obviously mentally unstable.
If you want a real event, attend OktoberFest and then see how "easy" Belegarth is. Please, do not cry on the field when you're shield kicked and then have your ass handed back to you shortly there after.
