Amt-void

The nickname for those regions that have no Amtgard groups nearby. Amtgarders who by choice or misfortune end up relocating to these 'wastelands' are forced to either attempt to start up a new park from scratch, or else resign themselves to only being able to enjoy the game when they get the chance to visit another park far away or travel to an event.

Amtgard has seen groups pop up in nearly every state in the continental U.S., shrinking the "Amt-Voids" by a considerable amount, but in the old days the Amt-Void would easily encompass whole states, particularly in the Midwestern U.S.
