Biography
One of the first nine members of Crimson Circle, Akyo learned the art of Sword and Board from founders Jihote and Orkin. He has a close affiliation with Solomon, and is a fast friend to many members of the park.
Despite being an incredible commander and healer on the battlefield, Akyo disdains non-militia combat. This may be because in non-magical conflicts, Akyo is absolutely deadly, as there is no easy way to bypass his strong defence. Against opponents who may, he utilizies a technique learned from Solomon known as Lightside/Darkside which consists of manipulating his opponents perceptions and delivering a swift blow from behind his shield.
The combat prowess Akyo's long career has rewarded him with did come at a cost, however. For a period of years, his Amtgard career was put on hold for his newly born child, but his strong connections to friends in Crimson Circle and the greater Amtgard community survived the hiatus. He enjoys a fierce but deep relationship with members such as Oddvar the Striking Viking and Dillon, who lovingly call his attention with the famous phrase "#suckittheo"
