Shef won the Ironman at Clan 2003. He was knighted and joined the nighthawks in Clan 2004. Can provide picture proof.
I seem to remember it going down that way as well. Kevin maintains his own article, I'll leave a note about it for him.

Missing you
Words cannot describe the heartache both Taldak and I are experiencing at this time. We both love Shef very much and he will always be remembered throughout our lives. The Nighthawks have lost one of their best and they will never be the same without him.

Shef was always one of the better, more honest fighters. I don't think I ever had to crank it up to make him take a shot. If he sluffed me it was well hidden. Sparing with Shef was always a time for teaching as well as learning. That by itself is enough to miss him over.
