Straps

Straps are the piece that holds the shield to your arm. Made from leather or cloth usually, they are fixed to the shield on two places and left slack so your arm may fit inbetween them and the shield. Old jean material, old leather belts, pvc, grout trowell, and left over thin leather from making armor are all examples of strap material.
