Heraldry
History
The former seat of the Empire of the Iron Mountains, the group became a Duchy when the kingdom switched from a Static Crown to a Floating Crown. The group formerly played in Denver but has recently moved the park to Brighton.
IMD is the oldest continuous group in the Iron Mountains, and is currently enjoying a Renaissance thanks to the work of Sir Kezgar and Zumat.
The proverbial (and almost literal) center of the Empire of the Iron Mountains, the IMD gave up its primacy as the Imperial seat when the Empire changed to a Floating Crown.

Directions
Nominally located in Denver, CO, the IMD meets in Brighton Park in the north-east suburb of Brighton, every Saturday around noon.
Beginning June 3rd, 2006, IMD will be meeting in Brighton.
Take I-76/Hwy 85 north to Brighton (when they split, stay on Hwy 85). Take the Hwy 7 exit east. Turn left on 10th. 10th will run directly to the park; follow the road around to the parking lot on the right.
