V9: Shield Crushing

Shield Crushing

If a Shield is struck by a Shield Crushing weapon three times, that Shield is destroyed.

1. These strikes do not need to originate from the same source, nor do they need to occur in rapid succession.
2. Melee weapons can only inflict Shield Crushing with slashes.
3. Any time a shield is struck by a Shield Crushing weapon, that shield becomes ‘Crushed’.
• A shield can become crushed twice without suffering any negative effects. The third time it becomes crushed, it is destroyed.
• Any ability that would restore a destroyed shield can be used to remove the Crushed effect and reset the "crushed-counter" to zero.
