Corsairs
Description
You're lying in the grass, blood spewing forth from one of your many wounds. You cannot move. You notice that you have been mortally wounded in the throat and cannot scream. Who could have done this to you? You didn't hear any warning or see anyone approach, yet you have been left to rot under the sun. You strain to see your assailants, all you can see is the fading march of an elite force. You barely make out the gray tabards as one of the warriors turns to look at you. The center of the tabard shows the wide spread wings of a phoenix staring back at you. You close your eyes and the truth sinks in. The Corsairs are marching..........then your world turns to black.
History
The Corsairs are one of the oldest fighting companies of Amtgard and base ourselves out of the Emerald Hills in Dallas, Texas. After a split of the Morluks in April of 1984, the Corsairs and Warriors for the Land Beyond were formed. Of the still active companies, only the Starquesting Dragons & Golden Lions were founded earlier.
