Ulrenth is a fictitious place created by The Bitter Coast Quest Guild for use in the ongoing Bitter Coast Quest Campaign, which has been told over several reigns.

The village of Ulrenth was once a bustling trade center of Amtgardia. Home to many wealthy families, including the Auldrenthakas, is was only ever attacked by the occasional barbarian rabble and was defended by a militia of mercenaries from nearby shires and towns. However, this prosperity was not to last. Local industries fell into ruin, the nearby villages fell into chaos, contributing to the barbarian hordes, and a new enemy was on the horizon. The Drow Empire was on the march, and Ulrenth stood as a perfect target.

One night, a scout rode into town an alerted its inhabitants that the Drow Army was only a few hours away. As the beleaguered village prepared for battle, the young Tylemeth Auldenthaka stole away from the doomed town with little more than a mask over his face and a rusty worn claymore on his back, heading towards the Bitter Coast, one of the last remaining refuges from the Drow.

Ulrenth was seized by the Drow, but at some point unknown it was abandoned, left with only a small contingent of Drow and Orks. More recently, it was revisited by Thrash, and was the scene of the failed incursion of Lord Xanzaphil.
