Actual History
Ray started playing at age 13, at the Barony of Mystic Glade in Tennessee, after "trial by fire" on the ditch field for three months, Shalazar handed over a down-spear. Two years later, Lord Squire Beefy, belted under Sir Stinkfoot. Due to mundania, the belt-line broke. However, this did not deter Ray! Continuing to work on war skills, concentrating on down spear and single sword styles until reaching age of 18 when joining the US Navy, causing "game time" to be limited. 2011, mundania giving him more time, Ray started with Harbour of Rhye. A dedicated player on the field, constantly working on further improving his down-spear, to be established on the East coast as one of the dominant styles in Amtgard.
