Save the dates: When: Sept 4 - 7
Where: YMCA Camp Massapoag 234 Hall Street Dunstable, MA
Cost: $30 for the full weekend Friday noon - Monday noon Day trip fee: $10 for the day to include up to dinner on Saturday or feast on Sunday. Day trippers must be off site by 9pm, please. If you are found on site after that time, you will be charged an additional $10.
Toys for Tot's Drive Everyone who donates a toy will be entered into a raffle with three prizes:
•First Prize: Cabin, to fill or not fill as you choose. •Second Prize: Monarchy Serves you Feast. •Third Prize: First in line for Feast
Foods Provided: Saturday dinner: Beef Stew with rolls & butter Iced tea and Lemonade Sunday breakfast burritos (may have minor costs attached. Will advise asap) Sunday Feast (I will have a small portion of Vegan food available): Shepherds Pie and mixed green salad with either ranch or italian dressing. Iced Tea and Lemonade
Feast Dessert contest!!!!
To all of you bakers, now is your chance to shine!!! The Kingdom of Goldenvale calls on you to bake cookies, brownies, cupcakes, muffins, etc.. to help celebrate our in comming officers. When you get to site, advise at gate that you are entering the contest. (judging to take place Saturday afternoon) The winning dessert will be served to the high table after feast on Sunday night!!! The rest of the desserts will be served to the attending populace!!!
A&S Workshops These workshops will be held but require participants to bring their own materials.
Macrame workshop: Diana will have *some* cord to use for demonstartion purposes, however, if you would like to make your own belt from start to finish, we suggest that you bring your own cord and ring. You can get cord at www.macramesuperstore.com My recomendation would be to get skeins of 100 yards 6mm. They also sell the brass rings. I would suggest 2.5 inches or 3 inches.
Weapon Making Class: Sir Belgarin states that you will need to bring foam, a core, DAP, tape.
Chain maille armour & jewerly class: Rings.. If you can, bring your own rings and needle nose pliers. If you can not, the teachers have stated that they could use some rings from their own stock, however, at that point, please feel free to donate a couple of dollars so that they may replenish their stock.
