Anything carried using one or more hands is considered Held.

What is a "Free Hand" ?

Also known as an 'Open Hand'. Some game rules may require a ‘Free Hand’ in order to perform an action or carry an object. For these purposes, a Free Hand is a hand that is not holding any equipment.

  • While performing an action that requires a Free Hand, that hand cannot be considered Free Hand for any other purpose.
