A defunct Shire of the Kingdom of Goldenvale, located in Ellsworth, Maine.
History
We hoped to begin a group Sept 2002 in Ellsworth, Maine but we unsuccessful. This group was very heavily a crossover group with the Society for Creative Anachronism. Members of SCA as well as Amtgard were welcomed with open arms, but Amtgard rules were to be followed.
The chapter of Northshield, tucked far into snowy Maine was the only known Amtgard SCA Crossover group started by SCAers. The name of this Freehold was completely coincidental and separate from the name of the SCA Kingdom.
