Shippo
”Four Directions”
Biography
Shippo is a Japanese word that literally translates as "four directions" and connotes expansiveness. The shippo pattern is made up of interlocking circles that, when repeated, are reminiscent of 4-in-1 chainmail, and could be thought of as representing the four paths to Knighthood within Amtgard. Members of Shippo are demonstrated leaders, volunteers, creators and mentors who aspire to improve their own skills and share their learning process with others.
