From The Stick Jock’s Dictionary - Clan Sword: A stiff or sometimes outright illegal weapon made specifically to be used at the Gathering of the Clans. In time the term came to apply to any sword of dubious legality ended to curb cheating and an IK Event. It is important to note that Clan Swords do not exist. It is also not true that many clan swords are in fact newbie swords strapped down with duct tape.
