Biography

Hundreds of years ago, in the wild lands north of Drandmir, an elven infant was abandoned under the light of a full moon.

The baby was found by a small clan of dryads and wood-elves, fae creatures that took pity upon the young child, naming him Kelsar Moonseye, and raising him as one of their own. The boy grew quickly, and learned fast. The wood-elves taught him how to walk silently, how to fire a bow and heal a wound, and how to disappear from the sight of men like a shadow. He learned the speech of trees and fairies, and could sit for hours watching the clouds go by.

His world was shattered when the fire came. Kelsar saw his dryad family destroyed, saw his friends run for their lives as smoke filled the air, and the fire blackened every living thing. The destruction of the beloved forest of his boyhood would scar him forever.

He wandered homeless after that, finding relief in the beauty of the world, learning the wild lands of Drandmir and Barad Duin, and beyond. No matter where he was, he would always find time to walk off and lose himself in nearby groves and stones and fairy rings, to talk and sing with the forest spirits he loved so. Years later, he returned to Drandmir; older, wiser, and still alone. He found the country changed. A great city had grown where he once lived, and young nobles were staking their claims for land far beyond its walls.
