Its important to maintain a website with current information about your Amtgard group to help people find you.

GoDaddy - offers domain name purchasing, and fairly economical hosting prices. They like to throw extra offers at you, so be careful
SkyWax - Development company semi-founded by an amtgarder. They do design for free and have a slick back-end CMS that allows easy updates. Not terribly expensive either.
Also, for groups without someone who is experienced at web-design/development. Wordpress makes for a quick, easy website. Easy to update, etc.
