I suggest adding the link to the album for the cursed prairie raid instead of posting all thirty pictures. --Linden 00:08, 31 March 2008 (EDT)
we will no longer be meeting at McCorkle park in cameron. We will know be meeting at Wallace State Park around 3 like usual. if you take 69 you will be lead to wallace by signs just past the bridge over 35 hwy. then when you go through the main entrance just take your first right just past the gate adn go down to the shelter house. we dont have access to the building itself unless we pay a 45 dollar rental fee each day we choose to use it. the grill is soemthing we have access to and the picnic tables as long as no one else has rented the place of course so maybe we will cook out more. as long as everyone is willing to chip in some of the food/supplies.
but wallace is better because there is much more open ground to fight on and great places for jugging or any kind of open field battles. there is lots of woods to play in and real bridges to play on.
for those who were unable to attend this last sunday when the quest was and some people from western gate were coming to meet us, here's how it went: western gate did NOT show up. not one person from there. everyone that showed up from heartland said they didnt want any more to do with them now. I think its a shame but we may try to petition Iron Mountains in the near future instead. that may be better or may not be because Iron mountains stretches into Centerpoint who we have fought with a few times before and is in Nebraska but is centered in boulder, CO. which could be hard to get too. despite the no show we had fun and went ahead with the quest. though we watered it down it was great fun. the quest item is a homemade relic for this shire. it is the "sword of power" or might also be refered to as the "wizard breaker" because it is a huge red sword that can not only go destroy warrior enhanced shields in the usual 3 (double handed) slashes and goes through ALL forms of magical armor. it treats standard armor as usual. being red, that means it takes 2 points per hit off armor. it took them a long time to finnally get the real sword as i had a couple of fake out swords that were similar to trick them up but those who got the fake out swords were able to keep them permantly! in this case Sinjin recieved BOTH fake out swords and Challen Acquired the true sword. for at least the next 6 months before, as a relic, it needs to be passed on. --Linden 08:51, 24 February 2009 (EST)
