a defunct chapter of Rising Winds, located in Dayton, Ohio.
Heraldry
History
One of the founding shires of the Kingdom of the Rising Winds. We would like to welcome anyone who would like to come and try it out or wants to get back in the game. e have been averaging around 20 per week.
I think it started around 2002ish by "Gothic Sinclare". A few months after we were approched by a few people from the Riseing Winds. We were one of the first 5 shires to join them, as a group of shires under the banner to finaly rise as a Kingdom. The shire grew and shrank in numbers almost ever summer. At one point in time we had over 20 members at Riseing Winds Coranation event. We had a few with lord and lady titles and master hoods.

Contacts and Directions
Griffins Ridge meets at Taylorsville Metro Park in Dayton/Vandallia. We meet every sunday at either the TR-4, or during the winter TR-5(at the stone shelter) entrance from 12 noon till whenever. As of right now we're meeting in a back yard, our park has been over run because of construction going on at the dam. Please contact us for directions if you'd like to come out.
