History
Formed in 1988 when Dalmaggnon of the Golden Plains mailed a copy of the rules to Maccalus at his overseas military post. The group never signed contract with Amtgard, inc., because frankly we didn't know we were supposed to! Membership reached a peak of about six regular members in early 1991, but was always fluctuating due to military transfers and deployments in the aftermath of Desert Storm. The Vales never really attained a tight nucleus of core members and only had two regular members under the leadership of Dalron BoarSlayer in 1992 when Maccalus returned to the U.S.A..
