You know that I'm third level bard,
but that's not good enough.
He started playing earlier,
So his skin's already tough.
I know you picked me for your team
but you haven't used me yet.
We've all made one team or another
who was stronger lose a bet...

Now I'm the other bard,
no one wants to pick me.
Since I'm the other bard,
Mimic is beyond me.

You know I wanna use my spell list
'cause it's how I want to play.
I know it's not as good as his
and I might not save the day.
I know that he's a master bard
and it's what I want to earn,
we've all had one far-off dream
or another, it's my turn

To be the other bard
no one relies on you,
When you're the other bard
lucky if your spells come out true.

He's gonna find out lower levels aren't bad
when he sees my class isn't just a fad.
He's gonna find out so I tell you because
You'll wanna be there when he does
