It is listed as the Kingdom heraldry here, but it truly is the Duchy's heraldry.

We have not yet, but are in the process of getting group pictures arranged. As soon as I have one, I would be happy to forward it to you.

- When was your chapter founded? By whom?
March 1999 by Sir Vasa Wolfrider, Lady Cira Chaosdragon, Sir Roland the Gray and Dame Angela Mastersinger
- Do you have traditions or games that you would say define your chapter?
We're a very charity friendly park. We do many different things throughout the year to gather donations for charity, including bake sales, park events, camping events, dollar tourneys, iron-man tourneys, raffles, and auctions. Our main drive is giving back to not only big foundations, but to our community. In the past 2 months we have helped 3 local charities alone, N.O.R.M.A.L, Inc. (A local Dojo), Star Community, Inc ( A residential community for mentally handicapped) and the local shelter. We like to have fun for a good cause.
- Do you have an active forum, facebook groups, or mailing list? Can you give us links?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/crystalgroves/ Our Facebook Group is very active. We also use the Kingdom's forums a good bit as well. www.forums.crystalgroves.com
- Have you had any news organizations do any pieces on your chapter in the last two years?
The head of N.O.R.M.A.L, Inc. did an article in his Martial Arts magazine for us in April, I have a copy and can scan it to send to you within the next week or so. We also had the Herald Mail at our past Feast of Dead in September starting an article that will be finished by the end of the year. They are coming out a few more times and making one big piece on us. There are a few other news organizations that are in the process of making arrangements to come to our park in the next few months. Verosse of the Duchy has been a major help in getting our P.R things taken care of since July. That is her main duty for the park.
- What have you been doing to attract new players?
We have been actively looking for a new park that will allow us to be more in the public eye. We also have just made it the main goal to have fun at our park on a weekly basis so mundanes that do stop and see what it is that we do, see that we all enjoy what we do every Sunday. We have become very active with the local Dojo and have gotten some of their martial arts students out to our field. We are in the process of new flyers and brochures about Amtgard and the Duchy. Sir Tosc among others has been working with new people as they express interest, by giving them pointers and assisting with loaner weapons and garb to encourage them to continue coming out. Many of our guys have been pulling new people aside and showing them ways to improve their fighting, to make them feel like they can compete with the more veteran players which has also proved to keep them coming back. If they feel they have a chance, they start to build a drive to get even better, and to keep coming back.
- Has anything happened in the last year that you would like included in your history?
We had a great event in Sept, Feast of the Dead that held our Kingdom's Dragonmaster and Weaponmaster for this reign. We also held our first annual Crystal Groves Duchy Carnival Day on October 9th which raised $150 dollars for Star Community, Inc. This will start to b ecome an annual event, which will have different charities each time.
