A Chapter of the Wetlands, located in Conroe, Texas.
History
A strongly role-play oriented group, Ironwood's park is small, but the players are friendly and love to quest. Our populace fluctuates weekly due to the relative youth of our players -- many are students without regular transportation.
Ironwood is a known hot spot for rebellion when called for by RP, and is known for it's hospitality and availability for hosting Monarchs and Kingdom level one-day events.
On a mundane note, on-site porta-potties (until the main pavilion restrooms are completed) and restrooms, water fountains, a large covered pavilion, and a children's playground are available, and lend to the more family oriented atmosphere of this park. Watch out for the waterfowl - the goose is greedy.
There is a Kroger and other amenities at I-45 and 336, on your way in.

The current monarchy is supporting the ongoing trend of family oriented activities, including AmtKids training and tourneys, promotion of A&S with monthly themed competitions (See below), enforcement of minimum garb standard, promotion of the Rules of Play 7.5+, amusing rather than totally dry courts, public acknowledgment of achievement wherever possible, and in general having fun.
