A style of combat put forth in [[6.1]] that attempts to combine [[Shot In Motion]] and [[Atomic Clock]].  Basically it plays like Shot in Motion except for hits to an arm throwing a shot, in which case the shot stops immediately (as in Atomic Clock).  Many proponents of AC and SiM are vehemently opposed to Hybrid.

The following rules are from an out of date rule-set

A style of combat put forth in 6.1 that attempts to combine Shot In Motion and Atomic Clock. Basically it plays like Shot in Motion except for hits to an arm throwing a shot, in which case the shot stops immediately (as in Atomic Clock). Many proponents of AC and SiM are vehemently opposed to Hybrid.

Aramithris has stated this is the way Burning Lands has always played it. In the early years it was most certainly used in BL, although not necessarily exclusively (rules agreements never being a common occurrence, a factor which lead to the proliferation of rules interpretations across both time and location).

Was replaced in 7.0 by Short Clock.
