He started out in the company known as [[The Roulette]] and, with help and training from Captain Flintlock and First Mate Shameus, he quickly became very knowledgeable of the game and his fighting skills increased. When Captain Flintlock and First Mate Shameus left [[The Roulette]], Jacques had a brief stint as Captain until leaving the company himself, giving the title of Captain to [[Merrick Ein]]. Shortly after that he received a [[Page]] belt from [[Greasy]].
