Originally seen at Clan - some Wardancers when flanking behind a line would scream "Wardancer behind you!!" right before hitting their opponent in the back.
Most other kingdoms held to a belief that flanking was considered reprehensible, and in the early 90s (and even today in some Kingdoms) 100s of Amtgardians would engage one another squarely during mass ditches without utilizing battlefield tactics such as flanking, or enveloping. The CK, perhaps influenced by members of the Chosen indulged in this tactic early on as a matter of course, regardless of what the general consensus was concerning this tactic.
Occasionally there would be complaints at large inter-kingdom events when the Chosen and other members of the CK would run the flank. As a result "Wardancer Behind you!!" became a battle cry when flanking - and was used by members of the Chosen. The war cry was a double entendre;
- That Torches are playing by the rules as they are understood by citizens of Amtgard
- Wardancers provide a great deal of humor when flanking
