Pattern Retailers

  • http://www.renstore.com The Rennaissance store has patterns for Middle Eastern, Mediaeval and Rennaissance Costumes. Look under "Costume Patterns".
  • http://www.folkwear.com/ check the Asian, Caravan and Old Europe sections, some of the rest in neat, but those three have the most directly useful stuff.

Favorite Patterns

  • Ghawazee (Al-Zahra's Ghawazee Coat) - Very comfortable fighting garb for ladies. Shortening the length will help prevent the panels from getting stuck in knee pads. Also, adding gores to the side panels gives the outfit a nice flared skirt. (can be ordered from http://www.renstore.com)
