History
Lands End was formed by Kite in 2004 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Kite had learned the game playing at Starmount and Mists of Dawn in St. Paul, MN.
Attendence was typically small in Grand Forks, less than 10. The park was very low-key, entirely run off loaner garb and gear. In late 2005, Kite moved from the area and the group withered. Things picked up shortly after in nearby towns of Fertile, Mentor, and Crookston, but small attendence and people relocating caused those groups to dissipate.
In 2007 Kite moved back to the area, and is attempting to revive amtgard interest in the area. Things are on track to begin shortly.
