Jareth started playing amtgard in April of 2008 at Wavehaven after he was recruited by Bartacus. He is now part of the recently-formed Shire of [[Ashen Spire]]. He learned to fight Sword and Board under Tevas. He generally plays Healer and was Monarch of Ashen Spire for a year. He plans to prove AS to be the best land in the confederacy by having the perfect combination of Role-play/fantasy aspects and pure fighting. Almost like if WH and WS made a perfect child. Despite that being actually impossible for multiple reasons, it was the best and closest comparison that could be made.

Jareth started as a child of the streets. Life wasn't particularly complicated until something dark began to brew. During his dreams he saw visions of a girl with bright red hair. A partner who was destined to fight the coming darkness with him. These dreams disturbed him, especially as it featured this girl killing many of the people he knew. On the dawn of what would become the blackest day, Jareth set out. It was on that day that Jareth bore witness to the darkness. Zombies appeared and started to turn everyone. But for some reason, only he could see them. Everyone else would seem them simply as people.

I used to care enough to have a character bio. But since I've started playing amtgard I have become more interested in the fighting and less interested in the classes and such. I do, however, quite notably fight in Red Lantern armor.

The visions drove Jareth forth to the region just east of the Kingdom of Black Spire where he found his destined partner. She, too was able to see them. They soon realized how alone they truly were in the darkness, which only drove them closer together. They soon fell in love and were greatly happy together. That is of course, until his fiery mate was torn away from him. As they traveled through the darkness, trying to survive she was killed. Emotionally shattered, Jareth fled. He began to learn the ways of the divine magic to see if he could bring his beloved back to him. When at last he had mastered the art, he found that he could not raise her. Frustrated, he sought the Arcane magics to find a possible alternative way. When that, too, had been mastered Jareth become more frustrated. Lost, he now turns to the woods and the magic of nature to find another way.
