The House of Bourbonia is a unique grouping of players from the Commonwealth of Kentucky who may or may not be alcoholics. The group was formed predominately online in a Amtgard discussion group for Kentuckians. Its heraldic device is a modified House of Bourbon device, with a bourbon whiskey barrel as the charge in lieu of three Fleur-de-lis. The real House of Bourbon was a french royal family that lent its name to Bourbon, and Bourbon County, Kentucky.
