He's he type of person who will make friends with an individual, then use his influence to manipulate that individual to serve himself and his own needs.  When the individual is no longer useful, he casts them away, usually banning them from SME functions, which in turn, alienates them from any real friends they might have made while playing the game.

Jared uses aggressive tactics in the real world to cause problems for members of foam-fighting organizations not affiliated with SME. Hoping that this aggression will either spur people into starting fights with him, allowing him to play the victim, or allowing himself the opportunity to cause them real physical harm on the field with his players using unsafe weapons swung in a dangerous manner.

Interacting with him or his "Empire"  is not recommended.  You're better off ignoring him, until he becomes such a problem that the mundane authorities can intervene.  He'll usually give up before taking it that far.

A man not much liked by the group Tetsu Bonzai, and more along the line of hated by Itsukaten. Shares many similarities with Peter LaGrue, founder of Amtgard. He is the founder of the Sakura Moon Empire and continues to lead it to this day.
