Born the smallest of his twelve brothers Thrud's father was filled with shame and cast the whelp down the mountain side so that the other giants of the tribe would not know of his shame. having survived the tumpble down the mountain Thrud was found by a kindly monk (Grampus the Venerable) and in monastery he was raised to revere all of nature
