AmtWiki is a very specialized wiki, covering only information directly related to the LARP Amtgard. However, with decades of history, thousands of participants, and a community that spans internationally, the narrow scope of the wiki allows for a multitude of information to be added. This page defines what is and is not covered under AmtWiki's scope.

AmtWiki content

Anything related to Amtgard can be represented on AmtWiki, including (but certainly not limited to):

• People, households, companies, chapters, and kingdoms that either are or were a part of Amtgard
• Events and happenings where Amtgard activities took place
• The activities that took place at those events
• Cultural motifs, terms, slang, ideas, and concepts of the community of Amtgard

Out of scope

While a great number of things are within the scope of AmtWiki, many things are not, including (but not limited to):

• Organizations and groups that are only tangentially similar or not at all related to Amtgard, such as subgroups of other LARPs and similar organizations.
• People who are not related to Amtgard, such as participants of other LARPs who do not participate in Amtgard.
• Terms or slang that are used outside of an Amtgard context, such as the use of terms of similar organizations that are not commonly used participants outside of those groups.
• Events that are not held as an Amtgard function, or not run with the intention of catering specifically to Amtgard participants, or not run as a cross-organizational event with Amtgard-specific participation.
• Activities that are not held in conjunction with Amtgard-related functions.
• Pop culture references that do not have a Amtgard specific application.
