Biography

Durcha Aer is a prodigal returnee to Amtgard after a long absence of some years. She started the shire in the late 90's as a way to impress her boyfriend...err stalkee, Aristophahippopocrates who had formerly played in Running Springs, Colorado. Eventually Durcha got tired of being Sheriff every year and withdrew from active participation to focus on her duties in the mythical lands of Work and College. Durcha re-aquainted herself with the joys of battle at a PolyCon demonstration in 2009. While away, the Shire of the Seven Sleeping Dragons became a Barony. Wow!

Durcha owes considerable thanks and gratitude to all those who kept, and keep, the Seven Sleeping Dragons alive and growing.
