The Riverlands/Weaponmaster

This is a history of outcomes from the biannual Weaponmaster tournaments held by The Riverlands in Paducah, Kentucky. Locally the event is known as the Blüdfrost Occasional Fight Festival or B.O.F.F. for short. The event still bears the original name of the park, Blüdfrost.

6th: April 16th, 2017

In lieu of being called "B.O.F.F. 6", this event is slated to be co-hosted by The Mire and take place at a central place in Hopkinsville, KY known as Literary Round Table Park - a Camelot-themed park on the community college campus.

5th: October 11th, 2015

This event was cancelled due to weather. It was originally planned to take place not at the home park of The Riverlands, but at Boo Castle Park outside Carbondale, Illinois.

4th: October 13th, 2013

No records exist from this event.

3rd: April 14th, 2013

Few records exists from this event, however it is known that Graymalkin claimed the title of Weaponmaster at it.

2nd: October 14th, 2012

The second weaponmaster featured a more fully fledged dragonmaster concurrently and also saw the "invasion" of a nearby Belegarth/Dagohir group from Carbondale, Illinois. Due to the hectic nature of the event and weather, a full bracket breakdown is unavailable. The winner of the weaponmaster was Kane Xune while the dragonmaster went to Lil' Morgan.

1st: April 15th, 2012

24 individuals entered the first weaponmaster tournament held by Blüdfrost. The event took place on April 15th, 2012 at 3:00 PM CST. There were 5 rounds, single elimination. Each round was best 2 out of 3, with a defined limited play area without any type of thrown weapons or magic. The event was actually won by a visitor from the nearby Freehold of Constantinople Richard le Gris, so runner-up Kane Xune was awarded the first Weaponmaster title. However, a couple months later Richard would move to Blüdfrost permanently, meaning that from July until October the park had two technical Weaponmasters.
