Biography
Siglur started out playing Amtgard in Arkansas. A friend from college introduced Siglur to his father-in-law (Baronet Strongdrake) who was starting up a new group there in town. That happened in Sept ’01. Siglur went on to serve as GMR, champion, & sheriff of The Mystic Mountains over the course of the next 3 yrs. He helped with the formation of the 1st confederacy of Tal Dagore, as well as served as PM of Tal Dagore for a term. He have become a self-titled “Ambassador of Pain” with lethal nut-shots from his bow. “Buy a cup! They are a person’s best investment in Amtgard next to gloves” – Siglur. Siglur has traveled extensively over the last 3 yrs with mundane work, but has carried the Dream & his weapons with him through it all! After Mystic Mountains went defecto in ’08, Siglur just roamed the great U.S.A. looking for any and all that would swing foam! He came upon Thor's Refuge in Sacramento, CA last summer & decided to make it his new home. Unfortunately, Mundania called him away. Though Thor’s Refuge had become his new home, Siglur has spent the winter of ’10-’11 with all the fine people of Blackfire Pass & Valley of the Twin Rivers in Ohio. He has met & made many friends in all of his travels. He counts Sir Juicy, Sir Christian Kendric, Sir Konrad, Sir Liam, Sir Haydeez, Sir Dekland Silverbush, Dame Annilia, Sir Crosser, & Sir Euric amongst those that help keep “The Dream” alive! Siglur has many others that he counts as best of buddies in the game that are scattered from coast to coast! And, yet, Siglur knows that he has made more than one or two enemies in the game. Siglur would like to say to the haters out there, “Get over it! This is a game! And, we are here to have fun, make friends, & live the Dream! So, F@(% off, haters!!!” Once, Siglur was referred to as Sir Christian Kendric's “bulldog” on the field!
After several years off the field and tolling in the mundane world, Siglur is back! And, he has founded a new shire, a freehold, in Monroe, LA called Briallo. There are still many adventures left to live and write!
