In the early days of the Burning Lands, there was a naming trend that involved a (usually dark) color and a type of bird. For example, Tawnee Darkfalcon. ( Blackhawk etc add more)

In time, Gilos Dawnhope mocked this naming scheme, donning the alias of the Purple Duck.

There were a number of event reviews posted by people using a discolored bird name, such as the Green Albatross, Ecru Swan, etc.

But there will only ever be one Purple Duck.
