  • November 22nd Coronation for Savage Highlands at Wingfield Park around 12 noon in Ruidoso, NM. Right by the Ruidoso Athletics Club and the Municipal Court House.
  • November 22nd: Siar Geata mid reign and Bardic Festival!
  • Anatole and his court will travel to High Oasis this weekend.

Emerald Hills

  • Trianna asks tha very EH update their records with their birthdate.
  • Faunna, running unopposed is qualified for the office of Queen. All positions in the EH were uncontested this reign.
  • Broken Bridge petitions to join the EH.

Celestial Kingdom

  • November 21, 2008 - November 23, 2008 (That is the weekend before Thanksgiving) Murky Waters will be hosting a Quest and Crown Quals. currently this is scheduled to be a joint effort with Murky Waters and The Wall.

  • November 22nd - Principality of Olympus: Defense of Dark Shores - Dark Shores is being raided by Frostlands.
  • Nov 22nd – Defender's Day Rivermoor (Start of new Reign)
  • Nov 22 Imperial Crown Quals, IMD (Jetara & Camilla's - Firestone) we will be holding an evening Revel and short Court after Quals is completed, so please plan to stay a little while if you can! Event announcement to be posted soon..

Wetlands

  • Sebastian will be the new monarch of the Wetlands. Wetlands End-Reign/Coronation will be December 5-7 at Jones Country Music Fairgrounds in Colmsneil, TX. RP continues, leading to the final stand of Tyrant Margul at the castle in Jones Country. Three of the 'big five' positions are give filled by appointment because players running for those offices failed o qualify. As a result the wetlands is toying with fundamentally changing their quals process, or doing away with it all together.
  • Ironwood will be invaded by the sister chapter Shadowkeep on sunday.

Neverwinter

  • Changes are made to the neverwinter Corpora, to be released later this week.
  • Green Water Valley gets to know it's new kingdom and announces it's new event 'Feast of the Rising Sun'. to be held over the weekend of March 13th-15th.

Blackspire

  • November 23rd(Sunday)-NL Teaching Day-Greenwood Keep- "How to make a legal Sword"
  • Jerigo begins to lay out his plan for the reign. He was chosen to succeed Tseng by emergency election.

Rising Winds

  • King Thorvald continues his whirlwind tour of the more than twenty chapters under his rule, Thee Nights Legacy receives the King's Visit on November 22.
  • November 23rd: 2nd Annual Can Day hosted by Knoblands. Can Day is where we let people cheat on levels for a good cause. Donate 2 cans per level to play that level for the day, for instance, to play 6th Bard if you've never played it before, you'd donate 12 cans. At 2nd level in a class? Just 8 Cans! Please, no Ramen Noodles. Period. Today features a special quest designed by our Champion Iori the Jackal.

  • Nov 22nd. Quest Battle, then sword building class with Jynx and Kairi (Learn different styles of building Amtgard legal weapons.) at Truevale.
  • Craft Polluzza to be held all friday for River's End To that end we want to invite EVERYONE in the duchy over to join the fun. We will have two sewing machines...lots of room and probably take a donation pizza once dinner time rolls around. You can come anytime after 10AM and stay as long as you want. This includes crash space for those who travel far so that you can just stay over for park day on Saturday. And I am sure we will be crafting until late into the night with a break or two for a movie, or WOW on my PC or

you can bring your laptops or whatever. So bring your stuff and come on over. Lot's of help...if you need help. Encouragement if that is what you need. Directions to my house are in the files. I can also be reached via my cell at 828-8513. Freeholds

  • Tuesday 25th: Allthing/Mid Reign/Chancellor elections/Persona court and feast. Chancellor nominees must be approved by the allthing, to vote in the allthing OR for chancellor you must be dues paid. Oathbreaker Bog
  • Emerald Waters invites Thundering Rivers to join them in a raid this weekend. This is the third park split to occur in the aftermath of Thundering River's removal from the Rising Winds a few months ago. Harrowing Citadel and Falcon's Nest being the other affected parks.

  • November 15th: Mystic Springs, Slaughter Creek,and Talonfield will be holding their End-Reign. So mark your calendars. The theme for the event is Down South Hospitality. So come out and have a great time with awesome food, great games, and lots of laughs. Miklos of Kolomya will have a leather bracelet class for munchkins.

  • Autocrats are needed for The Principality of Olympus Yule Festival, Principality Quals, and Principality Coronation/Throw in the Snow. Submit bids to Prince Skrag at [email protected].
  • November 14th: Ivory Tower The demo is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. in the Student Union. We'll gather there and then get directions from there as to where we will be.
  • November 15th: Autumn Trials & Querna Tema Coronation Hear Ye, Hear Ye! There were 11 votes collected. All were Yea!! So Yea for Argile and Khanar! Maddox declared for Champion and qualified for the A&S portion. A notice will be posted once the Reeve and Copora tests are graded.
  • November 15th: Principality of Rivermoor Autumn Trials, RM (loc TBA)
  • November 16th: South Gate Food drive Tourney: Bring canned and non-perishable food items to the park to go to the Soup Kitchen here in Trinidad. The more you bring, the more chances you get in the tourney. The winner of said tourney gets a prize, and the person that brings the most donations gets a prize as well.

  • Green Water Valley is thinking about canceling their usual fighter practice due to cold weather.

  • November 16th: Blackfire Pass Mid-reign King's Visit RW
  • The Frostlands has received a notice of nonpayment from the company that they purchase Port-o-potty services from for the last two Great Adventure Challenges. The gentleman charged with paying the bill did not use the park funds he was given to do so. The park has resolved to pay the bill, but not what to do about the roughly $320 that was stolen.

  • On Friday, November 7, 2008, Thane Sir Corwinthalanos Jaelin Shefanhow was lost to us. He was loved and respected, and will be missed. Services will be held on Thursday 10am - First Methodist Church, Abernathe Tx.

  • The populace of the Desert Rose wishes to offer a challange for all the Parks in the Kingdom of the Desert Winds. Being a new Kingdom, they have no funds. With Coronation only a few days from now, they could use some gold coin to help pay for the upcoming event. We would be willing to put up $100.00 and challange the other Parks to match us. So we speak to Fal Dare, Truevale, Enchanted Falls, The River's End and Westgate Pass to help.... We know this task is great, but the Kingdom beckons.. And support is part of belonging.   • Ironically the chapters of Murky Waters and the Wall have chosen to hold a weekend Halloween event at Burkhaven despite the fact they they are only and hour and a half's drive from the site of CK coronation.

  • Sea of Rhye has been demoted to the status of shire, and then removed form the GV rolls. It was previously reported that most of SoR's Players had moved to Veles Harbour.

  • October 31st - November 2nd: Siar Geata takes part in the Escondido Renaissance Fair. No one at regular park. Contact SG on their forum if you're coming. Your name must be on our gate list by October 18th to avoid paying for fair entry. HALLOWEEN PARTY on the 31st. Catered feast Saturday night.
  • The House of Auditore-Paine (Astral Winds) would like to invite all those Pagan or Pagan-friendly persons out there to our Samhain open house. Samhain is the word used in the "old religion" for Halloween. It is the time of year when we prepare for the darkness of winter, celebrate the third harvest (at least in warmer climates *smile*), pay homage to the souls who have passed on during the year, celebrate the circle of life, and generally have a some good family time.

  • The Wetlands sufferes from a ligistical snafu. All the tables at their usual event site having been destroyed in this season's hurricanes.

  • Green Water Valley had a record 30 sign ins last weekend. they have also chosen to join Winter's Edge, under Never Winter.

Blackspire

  • October 31st: Blackspire Demo/Halloween tourney. We will be meeting at the park at 3 as per normal. We will then move to the Demo site. And have a tourney. The more bizarre the garb/weapon the better. It is Halloween after all.

Rising Winds

  • Xander has chosen to abdicate his post as a member of the Western Gate BoD. Precedent allows him to choose his successor, but he has asked that an election be held to choose a new officer instead.
  • November 1- Madoc's Keep Mid-reign King's Visit RW
  • November 2- Five Oaks Mid-reign King's Visit RW
  • Satyr's Crossing holds an Althing on Sunday.
  • Cursed Prairie calls for bids for their midreign. Their Regent, Liam Mc'Oi, also plans to hold an Ithra.
  • November 2 Althing Western Gate
  • North Haven will hold an emergency althing to elect a new Regent. Ok, this has gone on long enough. North Haven needs a Regent and one of you suckers are going to have to take one for the team and be elected for it. Next Saturday is Move Kuma and Co. away from the poisonous death trap that is their home to a new safer place. So the althing will either have to be over e-mail or we will have to postpone it until November 8th. They also plan to claim the Rivermoor forums by force.

  • Truevale will hold a Zombie battlegame on Saturday this week. The item shop will be open for this advenure. 2 Scrolls of Turn Undead $2/ea. 2 Protection from Death scrolls $3/ea.
  • November 1st Desert Winds Crown Quals
  • Oct 31st - River's End So we should have a party on Halloween night at the old Amtgard Park (Valley Park) and have a zombie/ghoul battle game! The grove of trees is a perfect place to stage an undead zombie membership drive. All those who fear death can defend their lives against the un-dead of the forest. Once the zombies have killed and gnawed on the weak humans, a feast shall ensue. A feast of candy and assorted junk food! Everybody is encouraged to let your un-dead self shine!

  • Sunday 2nd: A&S day, We will meet at the park and then chip in gas money to all drivers and caravan to Richards. Leaving the park at 3 and returning by 9 pm. We will be doing pot luck for this day. Oathbreaker Bog
