A type of Battlegame, sometimes called "KYK", "Resurrection" or "Res" battle.

In this game, typically ditch rules are used.

The basic concept of the game is that whenever you are killed, you stay dead until the person who killed you has been killed. At that point you respawn. Other than when you respawn, Wounds retain between fights.

If you Simo your opponent, everyone you both killed comes back to life, as do the two of you.

To win the game, you must have killed each player in a row without dying yourself. Some other players may have been killed by other players but when you kill who killed them, they will respawn so there so you have to have killed everyone without dying (which is the only way to keep them dead). It is generally considered very difficult to win a battle of this type above a certain size.

In most versions of this game, combat is "honorable", meaning players acknowledge each other and pair off for a fight, other players do not interrupt or backstab them while fighting.

In some versions (this should be established before hand) it is more of a "free for all", and players can be backstabbed or attacked while fighting. In these games immediately after killing an opponent who has killed a lot of people one may find themselves surrounded by a large number of just respanwed opponents as that person's kills come back to life and can attack you after respawning (the respawn must still be announced).

Some times other Game Types such as Full Class or Militia rules.

In some lands (especially those that use the term "Ressurection" or "Res" battle, this was a traditional game to play if game day happened to be Easter sunday.
