Biography

Katzu's been hanging around the game since 1999. He started in Crimson Moon in the Wetlands with the only goal of earning an order of the Lion from the Wetlands and being respected in the surrounding area. When his term ended as Chancellor he was made a Lord and had already earned many achievements and honors. His dreams shattered, Katzu hung around a few more months until late 2000 when Sir Luke Wyngarde organized the Y2K bug quest, which Katzu helped run the CM portion of. Designing and running the quest gave Katzu the goal of Knight of the Flame by Master Smith by running Quests. Stealing parts of verious other LARP systems, Katzu designed Katzuquests, which were an overlay on the core Amtgard mechanic. Over the years they have changed and become more and less immursive, but always something to add a bit of spice.

In 2003 he moved up to the Rising Winds and founded the province of Phoenix Tears. Leaving the Wetlands on 9 Smiths, Katzu again drifted a bit listlessly until Sir Wisp's knighting in 2004, when during Wisp's vigil Katzu was asked what projects he had been working on. This led Katzu to take a hand in running Discord in 2004, earning his 10th Smith. In 2005 he ran both Pelennor Fields and Discord within 7 days of one another, earning his Master Smith and Flame Belt.

In 2009 he moved back to Crimson Moon to be with family and persue mundane job opportunities. Since then he has become Duke of the province.
