Kingdom Boundaries Proposal

The united Kingdoms of Amtgard, speaking with the voice and leadership of the Circle of Monarchs, believing that the growth of Amtgard is advanced through the responsible government of the various kingdoms, and seeking to encourage that growth with communication, high standards, and mindfulness of the future unity of Amtgard, do hereby endorse and ratify these guidelines regarding the sponsorship rights of kingdoms.   • On Saturday, June 28th at 12 Seven Sleeping Dragons will hold a Quest 'Bridge to the Underworld'.
  • The kingdom Midreign on July 12th at 7pm at Peace Lutheran Church is approaching, with the menu released. Stay tuned for more info!

Kingdom of Goldenvale

  • Voting had restarted for the name and Heraldry of the proposed conglomeration of chapters containing; Bitter Coast, Sea of Rhye, Black Flame, and Velles Harbour. Each group will com up with a name separately and put i up for a conglomeration wide vote. It is hoped that the resultant group will be come a grand duchy.
  • June 29th all written entries must be submitted for shire Qualifications in Twin Moons.
  • June 27th - June 29 The Underdark I presented by the Sea of Rhye Nike-Carrollton Park, Smithfield VA. A Role play event based on 2 teams, The Drow and The Sea of Rhye. The Drow are invading the Sea of Rhye with mysterious unknown purpose. Still, their conquest is relentless and it seems nothing can stop their forces.

Kingdom of the Wetlands

  • The Roleplay in the wetlands continues, forces for and against the 'church of the wetlands' continue to battle on the mailing list in words.
  • Next weekend Denah will receive her knighthood in the order of the flame at the apollo con Demo.

Kingdom of Neverwinter

  • Mystic Glade is postponing their move to Victor Ashe park, waiting to pick up a few more new folk for the metro pulse article.
  • June 28th Neverwinter Kingdom Quals. at Saladino Park in Brandon, FL Quals will begin at 11:00am. All items must be entered no later than 12:00pm. The Champion tourney will begin at 12:30pm. Candidates so far are Sir Auwyne and Squire Squire for Monarch; Havoc is running unopposed for Regent; Sir Stinkfoot, Desybal, Xina have entered the field for Champion. Kingdom of the Rising Winds

  • Freya the standing monarch of Thee Night's Legacy has dropped out of office prematurely and says that they will not be returning to park. No word yet on TNL's plans for Pro-Tem positions.
  • An attempt was made at rising Winds Mid to remove Mercury from office via Allthing. The attempt failed.
  • Results of the Masters Tourney for Madoc's Keep are released. Elona is the new Dragonmaster, Asche the new Weaponmaster, Sakana is stepping up as Champion, Paint is taking over Prime Minister.
  • The Rising Winds passed a new Corpora change at last weeks midreign. Change II E 4 a to read a. Should the Prime Minister miss more than six weeks in a row or ten weeks total during their reign, or fail to enter credits into the ORK for 4 consecutive weeks, he/she shall descend from office. Motion passed
  • June 29: Phoenix Tears Midreign. Western Gate plans to caravan to this event.
  • June 26: Thursday night, Town Hall for Western Gate Meeting at 7pm at Cici's Pizza, WG also topped the ORK reports this week, being the best attended chapter reporting in the nation with 50 sign ins, not counting visitors.

Kingdom of Blackspire

  • Last Weekend the Duchy of Shrouding Mist held a Toys for Tots Tourney along with some other fund raisers. Between the car wash, the tourney, the raffle, and the food sales they raised $280.00 and 45 toys. The top three finishers in order were; Dogboy, Sir Shortround, and Cheech.
  • Angel's Haven Quest will be held on the 28th

Kingdom of Crystal Groves

  • Elections for the second court of Kingdom Monarchy were held this weekend. The race for King was split three ways between Rentell, Marius Mericles, and Sathallarin. The inter kingdom community was shocked by the candidacy of the later, Sathallarin being infamous for claiming a false knighthood in 2002. The new Monarch of Crystal Groves is Lord Rentell Ironwood, the Regent is Lady Relysis, and the Champion is Baron Marius Mericles.

June 17th to June 24th

Michael announces that SKBC 2009 will be held in Ohio. The FWACK committee provisionally accepted the bid to go to Ohio in the Rising Winds. The bid had a few things that needed to be ironed out and we will review the final bid at Clan. However, we trust that the autocrat Orlando can make the bid work to our satisfaction. Details on place and date will be published after Clan. It is rumored that the site will be the same one used for Battle Cry Geneva Hills.

  • 22 June 2008, there will be a local champion's tourney for the chapter of Greenwood Keep in Lacey, Washington. Their previous champion had to resign due to mundane reasons, and they need to replace her.
  • Northern Lights a Principality in western Washington state is holding a Toys for Tots fundraiser and tournament weekend. The Fund Raiser, a car wash, will occur at the AMPM Gas Station on 11908 Pacific Ave on the 21st in in Parkland, OR. The Tourney will be at Shrouding Mist, the goal is to out do the kingdom best from last December. Entry to the tourney is purchased with one new unwrapped toy. The top three finishers will be awarded prizes. This event brought to you by Aphaydren.

Burning Lands

Celestial Kingdom

  • Slaughter Creek will hold an Althing at their usual meeting pace in South Austin, Texas.
  • There will be stories in the makin' this Sunday. My crew and I shall be seekin' the next treasure of Poseidon, and should be easy pickin's, what with ye lubbin' layabouts too yellow to brave the summer's heat. But, should ye get the itches in yer breeches to come out and have a go, I'm certain there will be a sword or two to clash with. Hope to see you all Sunday, at 4 bells of the afternoon watch. That's 2ish, ye lubbers. Yarr. That is to say, there will be a quest at Talonfeild in Bastrop, Texas this Sunday at 2pm.

  • Results for the Crown Quals Iron Man Tourney are released. Top Three finishers were, Tosc with 21 victories, Justice with 20, and Haze with 18.

  • The Emerald Hills continues to discuss the possibilities of those under 14 holding voting rights.

  • Due to his inappropirate actions on the feild Topher has been banned from play at Haranshire for the month of June. Topher was the standing champion of the chapter but was removed from office with a vote of no confidence. This vote was opposed by Colt because the ban was not carried through an althing and three of the park's officers were absent. King Akirth pointed out that According to the corpora there has to be a petition signed by 20% of the active members of the Barony to remove an officer. Therefore, Topher is still the Champion of Haranshire until this occurs.

  • Radiant Valley in Oak Ridge, Tennessee is holding a Water Balloon Baby fight this coming weekend (6/22). Extra babies are $1, throwing balloons are $0.25 each.

Rising Winds

  • Thundering Rivers in Elkhart, Indiana will hold their dragon master tourney at Woodlawn Nature center Paticipants must have their quals on the table by 2:30, with the forms filled out, the form is located under files, in our group. If you can't print one off or forget your form, someone is going to be at Woodlawn nature center with extra forms at 1:30. It is being held at Woodlawn because it is the Elkhart City Jazz Festival this weekend.
  • Western Gate in the Suburban Journal
  • Annilla announced that she will be handing over the reigns of Battlecry to Orlando, since she will be in her third trimester with twins during the event.
  • Phoenix Tears in Springfield, Illinois releasers the results from last week's Master Tourneys. Takko is the new Dragonmaster and Arias is the new Weaponmaster.
  • June 8 (Last weekend) Declarations for PM: Karl: Wrenn: Tafkal (so far) and GMR -Kuan Yin & GMS - no one has declared. BoD Seats are up, Deagan, who's and how many? Heartwynd declares for BoD June 22 Declarations end, voting begins at midnight and ends on midnight on July 6. Wisp and Tanath were both pied to the tune of 150 to fund raise for the upcoming Clan trip.
  • June 19 - 22 Rising Winds Midreign, Fallen Rocke Campground, Brazil, IN. Should be a very good time for all. It would be great if we could get a whole lot of people going to this one! Plan on filling your car now and asking off from work now. Rising Winds will also vote on Crimson Circle's admittance to the Rising Winds. Due to recent rain storms which caused no less than seven parks to cancel their game days last week, Fallen Rock Camp Ground, the location for RW events is also soaked. Extra tarps and spare clothing are suggested additions to the gear of those traveling to the event.

  • DS sends out their reminder for their chapters to turn in their records and bank statements in for review. The audits are still due at the normal date (August 15th), giving every land a month and a half after June ends to get their audits in to the kingdom.
  • Pegasus Valley holds their Prime Minister Elections. Candidates are Tiwaz and Shayleigh.

  • Due to flooding, The Duchy of Olympus has cancelled battlegames for Sunday, June 15th. Some members of Olympus had to be evacuated from their homes. Sir Micah Helstaven were evacuated for their safety and reportedly lost all of their possessions, and suffered severe if not irreparable damage to their house.
  • Desert Rose held their Weapon Master Tourney last week with Duffer Cole taking first and Nidalap and Vexx in second an third respectively.

  • River's End has established a rotating schedule for their qualified reeves.

Rising Winds

  • The Elkhart, Indiana chapter Thundering Rivers's local Prime Minister race is in full swing with Anubis Inpu, Ardara and the reigning PM Clayr vying for the position.
  • Kingdom Election Results are released. Hexloc, the incumbent Prime Minister was re-elected to the office over Exar. There is some discussion about the election on the RWs List; specifically about Hex helping to tally votes for a race in which he was candidate. The new members of the RW BoD are; Kravin, Heydeez, and Juicy.
  • Madoc's Keep in Louisville, KY will hold their local Midreign this weekend.
  • Azmandius of Gryphon's Perch in Indianapolis, Indiana has begun to organize Serpent Boot Camp 2009. The event will likely occur in central Indiana.
  • Frost lands will do a demonstration of Medieval weapons for Appleblossom Books June 14th. This will be the second annual such demonstration. Frostlanders were sneaky and cleaned up the GAC site before Papa Greystoke noticed.
  • June 16-17 Ashen Hills will hold their local Midreign in Haslett, MI.
  • Cursed Prairie will hold Althing June 15th at Farm park 1 p.m. all park members that are dues payed may take vote. Subject 'using Park funds to increase park funds'.

Freeholds

Amtgard lost one of their own on Tuesday, Squire Moose. Squire Moose is well remembered for his excellent food and assistance during Crystal Groves Events such as Feast of Fools and Feast of the Dead. Please take a moment to remember such an exemplary Amtgarder.

Blackspire

  • June 6-8 he Kingdom of Blackspire and the Principality of Northern Lights invites you to come to their joint midreign celebration at Battle Ground Lake Park in Battle Ground, WA. Separate waivers have been released for this event, with further separate ones for bows and those who are underage.

  • Murky Waters in Killeen, Texas will hold their coronation feast.

  • The Midreign Feast of Pegasus Valley is being held at Taylor Park where they normally meet on Saturdays on June 7th. The festivities for the day will begin around 1:00p and will continue for as long as they have the energy (and light, probably).
  • The regular fighter practice which usually occurs at Dragonspine Proper will be canceled for 6/5 and 6/12 due conflicting events like Rakis.

Emerald Hills

  • Kingdom Crown Quals will be held this weekend in the Emerald Hills; Saturday the 7th at Midnight Sun in Garland, Texas, Sunday the 8th at Eagleshire in Denton, Texas.

  • On June 7, Desert Rose in Elko, Neveda will hold their Dragon Master and Weapon Master. Everyone remember that entries in to the Dragon Master and the Crown Quals in August will be tallied for the $100 cash prize. Again, the more culmunitive points you earn the closer you will be to the prize.

  • Voting for BOD Posistions in Rising Winds concludes on the 8th at 11:59. There are three positions open and the candidates are; Heydeez, Thalyn, Juicy, and Kravin. The candidates for Prime Minister will be sorted out at the same time, RWers may choose between Exar, and Hexloc
  • Satyr's Crossing discusses the possibilities of traveling to Origins as a group.
  • Cursed Prairie holds their Dragon Master / Weapon Master on Sunday.
  • June 7 & 8 - Pagan Picnic - Starts at 10am, but I would like folks there by 9am to set up. If you want to help out running our booth, please let me know! We also need reeves, teachers, demonstraters, crowd walkers and people to show the newbies a good battle! Plan on being there both days! - Autocrat: Heartwynd

Wetlands

  • Cairn Garneth of Deer Park, Texas will celebrate their six month anniversary on June 7th with themed battlegames and some burgers and dogs.
  • Relic Quest will be held Sunday July 6th at Cedar Hill Park. The quest will start at 12 noon. Weapons, armor, spell lists and quest questions will be finished by then. The Theme will be Light vs. Dark and the Planar damage happening due to dimensional seals being broken. I will be using terrain effects, there will be monsters, other PC's will want to kill you. Come prepared. Quest teams will number 4-8, all interactions (outside of combat) between different quest groups must be supervised by a quest reeve or the interaction will be deemed invalid.

Freeholds

  • Due to a special event occurring in their usual park Fire Shore in Cambridge, Maryland will meet at Ara's house this sunday.
