Biography
Chuckles and his brother Patronakis first came into contact with Amtgard in October of 2015. After a few weeks of playing, Chuckles would decide that amtgard wasn't for him, while Patronakis would continue playing. Patronakis would constantly urge him to come back out, but was always turned away.
Almost a year later, he ended up losing his job (and his constant excuse to not play). With nothing to do and desperately needing to get out of the house, Chuckles reluctantly agreed to give amtgard another shot. When Chuckles returned to Ironwood, those who he briefly met before not only remembered him, but greeted him like and old friend. After a couple of months of continuous attendance, he was hooked and began eagerly anticipating the next park day.
After a year of continuous attendance, Chuckles accepted a Page belt from Lady Thara. Around this time he also met Sir Vincent Landcrest, who Chuckles would come to rely on as a close friend and mentor. As a sign of trust and friendship, Sir Vincent would eventually grant Chuckles the use of the Landcrest name.
Chuckles would go on to be the monarch of the Barony of Ironwood in the following year. He was granted his first noble title, that of baronet, for his successful term.
In 2017, Chuckles would attend his first kingdom event, where he would get involved in kingdom-level service. He would quickly be recognized as someone that the kingdom can rely on when needed.
At the Celestial Kingdom event Spring War 2019, Chuckles' hard work was noticed by the Pirates of Stormwall, a Wetlands based fighting company with a penchant for service. The Pirates would extend an offer to join that Chuckles readily accepted.
By the end of 2019, he would accept a Squire belt from the Admiral of the Pirates of Stormwall, Sir Oz.
Chuckles would get involved in kingdom politics when he unsuccessfully ran for monarch for Wetlands Reign 49 in 2020. His first official role would come the following reign, as the kingdom's Guildmaster of Reeves. He would remain involved in kingdom politics in various offices after this, eventually becoming Monarch in Reign 54.
In July of 2023, Chuckles would be elevated to the peerage as a Knight of the Flame. Due to his insane request to be knighted immediately, because he wanted to go to the Gathering of Kingdoms as a knight the following week, gifts were quickly provided by what other knights had on hand.
In December of 2023, Chuckles would be knighted as a Knight of the Crown. This ceremony would pay homage to his Asian / Pacific-Islander heritage. Sir Oz would perform the ceremony while wearing a hula skirt and coconut bra.
