Garb suitable for fighting, getting sweaty and dirty if need be.
This is as opposed to Court Garb.
In general one would not want to go to court in Fighting Garb, though this is more common than the reverse (fighting in Court Garb).
This is a standard category in Arts and Sciences competitions such as Crown Quals.
