Originally a group of assassins that disbanded a long, long time ago, the Smiling Ones began anew in May, 2005 during [[Great Eastern VII]]. The [[company]] captain, [[Squire]] Master [[Prazac]] walked around the battle field in search of anyone who looked like they were fun. It was moments before final call for company randsom when he had gathered 4 people other than himself. The members gathered were [[Prazac]], [[Sethra Lavitra]], [[Waken]], [[Pict]], and a girl who was there because her sister played.

The Battlefield Strategist's consist or Beans, Ted The Farmer, and Prazac. Prazac, Beans, Bloo, Sethra and Gwendilyne are currently located in Goldenvale Proper, and more members are located in the Barony of High Oasis (AZ), Dragonspine (NM). As Smiling Ones, we spend some of our time at events helping with clean up and generally making sure people are having a good time. That's what we are all about: Have fun and help others have fun!

When the entire company would come alive during the randsom, they would call out as loudly as they could, "ALIVE" and hold the note as long as they could. The randsom was soon over. There were only seconds left. All of the Smiling Ones were dead except [[Prazac]]. He was no where in site. They began the count down... Suddenly, there he was, in his bright yellow pants! [[Prazac]] was running from the masses with not one, but two flags in his hand. Instantly, the Smiling Ones recognized thier own banner, but [[Sethra]] recognized the second. It was the banner of the Golden [[Gryphons]]! Time was called. During the talley, it was Smiling Ones who won in the end. Later, during [[Great Eastern]] it was [[Prazac]] with the help of the Smiling Ones who won the [[quest]].

We are a growing company and are always on the look out for new members. Our company's heraldry is a yellow sun on a black background. The uniform is... anything you want! But you must always wear your belt favor to signify you are with the Smiling Ones. All Decisions (every single one) are made democraticly in this company.
