"Staff Masta" is a derogatory term used to describe an elite master of the Quarterstaff, or any stave in general.
Staffs are often associatiated with magic in literature, and had a cheap magic point cost for Amtgard spell casters to purchase in Version 7.7 and earlier. Because of this, they are typically seen as a flurby weapon.
The term "Staff Masta" is generally derogatory in use, as most stick jocks insist that the Quarterstaff is an inefficient weapon, and hold that anyone who is truly skilled will quickly abandon it for a more efficient weapon.
