History

Drandmir began as a shire under the leadership and direction of the kingdom of Barad Duin, and Sir Sasha and Dame Kaitlyn. However, in time the leaders of Drandmir felt they were being managed heavy handed and being treated as less than equal. As such they named themselves a "Free City State" to show that they were no longer to be directed by any other group.

Traditions

Citymap.jpg

Unlike other HFS groups, Drandmir only awards knighthood once. Drandmir knights are expected to be competent in all three knightly pursuits, though outstanding in once specifically, and prepared to swear themselves to future service to Drandmir. The offer of knighthood is made by no less than the unanimous decision of all active members of the Drandmir circle of knights. The accumulation of previous awards is not taken into account in this decision. Drandmir Knight are restrictions from romantic engagements with their squires, and traditionally only take one squire at a time. The Knight's Circle also keeps other secret rites of initiation.
